My Mac gets hot and the fans get loud

Goodmeet transcribes on your Mac rather than in the cloud, so it uses your own CPU and GPU while a recording is running. On a longer meeting that's enough work to warm the machine up and spin the fans up with it.

This is normal, and it stops on its own. Once you stop recording, Goodmeet goes back to idle and your Mac cools down.

If your Mac is hot before Goodmeet even starts, something else may be running.
