Why does installation take so long?

The installer is downloading Goodmeet's AI models, the ones that transcribe and summarise your meetings directly on your Mac. Every download is verified before it's installed.

Most meeting notetakers send your audio to their servers for processing. Goodmeet doesn't. The models run on your device, which is why they need to be there. The download happens once, and afterwards:

• Your audio and transcripts are processed on your Mac and never leave it.
• Recording, transcription, and summaries work with no internet connection at all.
• There are no per-minute limits. The models are yours to run.
