Where is my data stored?

Recording and transcription happen on your Mac. Audio is never stored at all: once it's transcribed, only the transcript, your notes, and the summary are kept.

To write your summary, Goodmeet sends the transcript to Confidential Compute. It's processed there inside a sealed environment that nobody can reach into, including us, and it isn't kept once the summary comes back. Nobody, not even us, can access your information.

If you turn on encrypted sync, your meetings are encrypted on your device before they upload. The synced copy can only be read by your linked devices.

Your calendar stays on your device. Goodmeet talks to your calendar provider directly, and event details never pass through our servers.

With sync off, your meetings live on this Mac only, so consider keeping a backup. Summarising still needs a connection either way, because that's where Confidential Compute runs.
