Goodmeet settings explained
Everything you set during setup can be changed later in Preferences. There's a search box at the top if you're not sure where something lives.
User is your account: sign in and sync, or see who's signed in. Encrypted sync lives here too. Enable it, manage linked devices, regenerate your recovery code. Signing out and account deletion are at the bottom.
General sets the app theme: System, Light, or Dark.
My AI covers the models that do the work on your Mac. Pick your preferred meeting language, choose which local model writes your summaries, and manage downloaded model files. Sizes are shown, and you can remove a model to free up disk space and re-download it anytime.
Transcription shows microphone and system audio access, and holds your keyterms: names, product terms, and acronyms you want transcription to get right.
Calls & Reminders controls detected-call reminders, joining and taking notes automatically when a scheduled call starts, and call detection for WhatsApp and FaceTime. The Screen Capture permission that powers detection is managed here.
Notifications toggles app alerts and sound.
Calendar lists your connected calendar accounts. Choose which calendars to show, set the refresh cadence, connect another account, or disconnect.
Summary turns automatic summary generation after each recording on or off.
My Machine shows what Goodmeet knows about your hardware and how the local models perform on it.
About has the app version, updates (they download in the background; installing is one click), your device ID, and Report a bug.
