Sync Goodmeet across your devices

Sync makes a meeting the same record on every device you own, and doubles as a backup if one machine fails.

With encrypted sync on, your meetings are encrypted on your device before they sync. What reaches our servers is unreadable. Only your linked devices hold the keys, which is why adding a device takes your approval rather than just your password.

  1. Install Goodmeet on the new device and sign in with the same account.
  2. The new device asks to be approved and shows a pairing code.
  3. On a device that already has access, open Preferences > User > Linked devices, enter the pairing code, and click Link.
  4. Back on the new device, setup continues and your meetings sync over. If it doesn't move on by itself, click Refresh encryption status.

No access to your other devices? Choose Cannot access my devices and enter your recovery code instead. See "Save and use your recovery code".

Manage linked devices

Every linked device is listed under Preferences > User > Linked devices with the date it was added. Remove one there and it loses access.

Keep everything on one Mac

Prefer nothing to leave this Mac? Don't enable sync. In Guest mode, or signed in without encrypted sync, your meetings stay on this device only. Keep in mind that device then holds the only copy.
