Create your Goodmeet account
An account is optional. You can use Goodmeet fully without one; in Guest mode your meetings simply stay on this device. Signing in is what enables sync and backup.
What you get by signing in
- Use Goodmeet on your other devices, with every meeting appearing everywhere you sign in.
- Get your meetings back if your laptop is lost or fails.
- Synced data is encrypted on your device before it leaves. Not even we can read it.
- During setup, choose Sign in with Google. Missed it? Go to Preferences > User > Sign in and sync. Your browser opens for Google sign-in.
- Back in the app, turn on encrypted sync. Goodmeet shows you a recovery code; save it before continuing. See "Save and use your recovery code".
Prefer to decide later? Choose Set up later during setup. Everything keeps working, and your meetings stay on this device until you sign in.
Sign out
Go to Preferences > User > Sign out. Signing out removes your meetings and account data from that device. If some data hasn't synced yet, Goodmeet warns you before anything is deleted. Sign back in and your synced meetings return.
